I wrote this blog post to help improve BK ROT's Google rankings. The Six Karmic Benefits of Adopting a New York City Street Tree utilized GIFs and a listicle approach to get people interested in the idea of adopting a New York City street tree using BK ROT compost.

Seizing on a very interesting trend article in the Washington Post on millennials who enjoyed growing plants in their living spaces, I shared this Facebook post with the BK ROT compost Facebook audience. It had the highest reach of my digital marketing campaign - 216 people reached. 

One of the big challenges for the BK ROT website was trying to increase time-on-site. In order to encourage people to engage with the site's content a little more and learn more about compost in the process, I used the software Typeform to develop this plant care quiz that gaged what type of plant people should grow based on their answers about light, water, and humidity. Take it for yourselves!

I wrote this quiz about different vegetables and herbs that people could grow to work with different chakra centers. It dovetails with my general theory about content strategy that you should develop content that both informs people about ideas that they might not know about and personalize it for them at the same time. Take it for yourself! 

Every self-respecting millennial knows Captain Planet. I wrote this quiz  to educate site visitors about the benefits that composting have for the environment and to hook into the nostalgia that people have for the 90s in general. 

Using some sourced footage that BK ROT had access to, I edited this short 14-second paid social ad for Instagram encouraging people to use BK ROT compost. Watch the video.
